UH Football player hopitalized

UH player D.J. Hayden transported to hospital after practice

HOUSTON – Houston football player D.J. Hayden was transported by ambulance from the University of Houston football practice facility to Memorial Hermann Hospital for evaluation of an injury sustained in practice Tuesday afternoon.

At this time, medical information and status can only be provided by an attending physician from Memorial Hermann Hospital.  UH officials tell KPRC Local 2 they will pass on updates as they receive them.

Hayden has had a productive 2012 season recently being named CUSA's Defensive Player of the Week honors for his 2 interception performance against  the UTEP Miners.
