Caught a cool snap of a small spider web in the yard!! Love my spiders…. They do good work!!
I knew I had one of these bad boys hanging out in my yard….. today there were 3 all flying around together in my back yard! There nest is in my front yard! Cicada Killers…. They are huge, almost as big as my hummingbirds! They sound like my hummingbirds when they whiz by! HUUUUGE!!!
Let me first say…. I LOVE Spiders! This Barn spider has been making a web every night on my back door for a week! In the morning he takes it down and goes and hides…then puts it back every night! This one today is HUGE!! He has made a web a little over 19 inches!! So pretty!!

We didn’t get a lot of rain today… but it was enough to make someone happy!!
My little friend… he has come to my door for a few days, when I see him I go out and give him peanuts! This day was hot, but he was hungry! Splooting and eating at the same time!!
Got some rain over the weekend… this guy is trying to dry out his wings!!
We have LOTS of large mushrooms due to all of the rain!! So fun!! This is at our property in Atascosa CITY (not county)

With all the rain, we found a new little visitor! He was playing in the pond we had in the yard due to the rain…. Today he is hiding under a tree!
This is a picture of a small one lane bridge that usually goes over a small amount of water that is usually pretty stagnant! Amazing to see it like this! Located on Cagnon road close to 1604 and 90!
What are these???? There a TON of these little things flying around my backyard!! AND, look…. All my summer flowers have fallen over with all the rain!
Some cool looking clouds out now!! I once heard these clouds were associated with hail…. No storms at the moment though!

This is my new total for this morning in the Westover Hills area! It started to rain just as I took my last picture…. This is the total as right now!
We got 2 inches this morning….. and we didn’t even get the biggest rainfall today!! I am LOVING THIS RAIN so is my yard!!
