Good Samaritans help 61-year-old man hit by pickup truck in north Houston

HOUSTON – A 61-year-old man has been hospitalized after being hit by a pickup truck in north Houston on Monday morning.

Houston police said good Samaritans rushed to help the man who was hit while crossing the street on the North Freeway at Paton Street.

Witnesses told officers the man had headphones in and was possibly on his phone when he was hit by the vehicle.

Officers said the vehicle did not stop, and the man was hospitalized in an unknown condition.

Two men and a woman were thanked for rushing to the man’s aid.
