Woman dead after crashing into Houston Heights building Investigators say the car hit a curb before slamming into the building
HOUSTON, Texas – A driver is dead after police say she lost control of her vehicle, crashing into a building in The Heights on Tuesday morning.
Officers with the Houston Police Department responded to reports of a crash in the 1600 block of Durham Drive around 1 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found the woman, who was the only occupant inside the vehicle, dead.
Investigators say the woman was traveling southbound on Durham Drive when she lost control of her vehicle, leaving the roadway, hitting a curb, and then crashing into the corner of the building.
Investigators are working to determine how the woman lost control of the vehicle.
