Fort Bend County Sheriff’s officials said a child drowned at a residential pool in Richmond on Saturday

Fort Bend County – According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, a child drowned at a residential pool party on Saturday. Investigators said that first responders were called to a residence in the 1400 block of Foolish Pleasure Court at 7 p.m. On Saturday.

Officials said that someone at the residence performed CPR until EMS arrived. The boy was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Officials have not released the age of the child or circumstances surrounding the drowning.
