Man found shot dead in street, possibly after an argument with another man in E. Houston

HOUSTON – A man was found shot to death in the street after nearby residents heard gunfire in East Houston.

Houston Police say it happened in the 800 block of Autumnwood Drive. Police arrived at the scene and found the man dead.

Nearby residents discovered the man had been shot after hearing gunshots and went to find out where the shots had come from.

Police say the victim may have been in some kind of argument with another man just prior to the shooting.

Investigators are trying to identify and find the other man involved in the argument.
