4 injured in downtown Houston house fire

HOUSTON, Texas – Four people were injured and had to be transported to the hospital after a fire broke out in downtown Houston Monday morning.

The Houston Fire Department responded to the house fire located on 5705 Texas Street around 9 a.m.

HFD said one person was transported to the hospital in serious condition and three others in good condition.

The fire has since been extinguished. It’s not clear how the fire started.
