Man shot, killed in Alief apartment parking lot, Houston police looking for gunman

ALIEF, Texas – Authorities are looking for whoever shot and killed a man early Monday morning in Alief.

It happened shortly after 4 a.m. when Houston police said surveillance video showed an unidentified man walking toward the parking lot when another man following behind started shooting. He died at the scene, and his killer took off before police arrived.

It’s unclear why the shooting happened, but HPD Lt. T. Zhang said it looked “premeditated.”

An investigation to find the shooter is currently underway, but as of this writing, no additional information has been shared.
