Texas Children’s Hospital cancels outpatient appointments amid arctic blast threat

In light of the severe weather forecasted for next week, Texas Children’s is canceling all outpatient appointments in the Greater Houston area on Tuesday and Wednesday.

If you have an appointment scheduled, you’ll be notified if a virtual care visit will be available. To reschedule, patients can use the MyChart app or call the clinic once outpatient activities resume.

For those in the Greater Austin area, the cancellations will also affect appointments on Tuesday, and morning appointments on Wednesday.
