Houston’s own Beyonce donating $2.5 million to help people impacted by California wildfires
HOUSTON – Houston’s own Beyoncé is working to help the people of Los Angeles impacted by the wildfires.

Beyonce’s BeyGOOD foundation will donate $2.5 million to wildfire relief in California. Established in 2013, BeyGOOD was created to help with economic disparities within communities.
BeyGOOD said in an Instagram post that it will donate to the L.A. Fire Relief Fund to assist families impacted by the wildfires.

It also wants to make sure funds go to churches and other community organizations.
