Inside look at heightened security in Houston ahead of VP Kamala Harris’ speech to teachers Union
HOUSTON – As guests of the American Federation of Teachers ’ 88th national convention wait for Vice President Kamala Harris to deliver her keynote speech Thursday, security in Houston is prepared for anything.

KPRC 2 reporter Gage Goulding is at the George R. Brown Convention Center where he argues there’s more security here than anywhere else. It’s unsurprising, however, given that a high-ranking authority figure like the Vice President in Houston.
