Most Downtown Houston streets reopen after deadly derecho, partial closures remain

HOUSTON – As Downtown Houston rebuilds after last month’s derecho , the city has released an updated list of reopened and still-closed streets.

The Downtown Houston Management District has announced that most roads and sidewalks have reopened, with only partial closures remaining on two streets.
Dallas Street is now open, with one lane closed between Louisiana and Milam. Travis Street is also open, with one lane closed between Franklin and Commerce. Repairs are ongoing as the city continues to recover.
