Road closure on I-45 creating issues for Houstonians

A road closure on the Interstate 45 highway has left some Houstonians in a jam Saturday.

The reported construction closure is located Southbound at SH 249 and Mount Houston Road. It has been scheduled to last from 4 p.m. Saturday to 3 p.m. Sunday.

All traffic on the road is exiting at the West Mount Houston and 249 exit ramp. Then, the traffic will be guided along the frontage road before re-entering the main lanes at the entrance ramp before West Gulf Bank.
