Man found dead with gunshot wound after car crashes on ramp from Beltway 8 to IH-45

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man was found dead inside a crashed car in North Harris County and law enforcement said he appeared to have a gunshot wound.

It happened on the connector ramp between the westbound lanes of the Sam Houston Tollway and IH-45. Harris County Precinct 4 constable deputies responded to the scene after a vehicle crashed into the wall of the ramp.

When deputies approached the vehicle, they found a man inside dead with what appeared to be a gunshot wound.

The connector ramp is completely shut down and an investigation is underway. Law enforcement ask people to avoid the area.
