There’s a recurring theme when it comes to women in the workplace.

And that is... the lack of proper payments - mainly in comparison to male counterparts.

The topic is yet again up for discussion following Monday night’s WNBA Draft and the release of some of the top women player’s new salaries.

Although it was a night full of celebration, the wide gap in the salary amount is sobering compared to the compensation in the NBA.

One example is Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs’ who earned $12,160,680 his rookie year. The lowest-paid player in the NBA makes around $1.1 million.
