HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said a 3-year-old has died after being found unresponsive in a pool at a south Harris County apartment complex Saturday.
The sheriff’s office said deputies responded to a call of a missing child at the apartment complex located in the 3500 block of S. Sam Houston Pkwy E.

When deputies arrived, they found the child unresponsive in the apartment pool.
Deputies worked to provide life-saving measures before EMS transported the 3-year-old girl to a hospital. She was later pronounced dead.
The sheriff’s office said the family members of the apartment were at work and the child’s older brothers were watching her when the incident happened.
