VIDEO: Severe storms in Walker County leave behind damage

WALKER COUNTY, Texas – The roof of a structure came off and fell near a feeder road in Walker County after strong storms moved through the area and a tornado was reported on Sunday.

Walker County Precinct 3 Deputies were dispatched to the scene in the 2200 block of West Feeder Road near New Waverly, Texas to assist with traffic control and with assessing the damage.

The road is closed at this time.

A power pole also fell on the Interstate 45 Frontage Road South between Park Road 40 and FM 1374 in the county, and the road has been closed.
