METRO suspends some ride services due to icy road conditions in Houston area

Weekend Repairs Prompt Bus Shuttles Along METRORail (Houston METRO)

Officials with METRO announced service changes due to inclement weather and icy road conditions in the Houston area.

METRO announced that local bus and METRORapid services will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday however there will not be a Park & Ride service available.

METRORail and METROLift services will not be affected and will operate normally. MetroLift services will only operate medically necessary rides.

METRO’s HOV lanes will remain closed on Tuesday.
