BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas – A skydiver was injured after authorities said she landed in a pond at speeds that were too high in Brazoria County Saturday.
The Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office said it happened Saturday at Skydive Spaceland Houston.

The sheriff’s office said the woman was attempting to do a trick called swooping above a pond. Her speed was reportedly too fast and she was injured when she landed in the pond.
The woman was taken to a hospital by helicopter for internal injuries. The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
