Travelers see long waits, delays at Hobby Airport in Houston

HOUSTON – Travelers saw long waits to check in for Southwest Airlines at William P. Hobby Airport on Tuesday.

There were reportedly also long lines to check in your bags.

As of 9:30 a.m., FlightAware reported 62 delays and one cancellation at Hobby Airport.

45 delays and zero cancellations were also reported at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

About 9 million Texans are expected to travel for the holiday season, according to AAA Texas.

Approximately 410,000 are flying to their destinations and 8.3 million are traveling in their cars.
