Former CITGO interim president reflects on other Americans released from Venezuelan prison

HOUSTON – Six Americans who were wrongfully detained in Venezuela were freed Wednesday night and are back on U.S. soil, after landing in San Antonio.

Meanwhile, we’re getting an inside look from a Houston man who spent time in that exact same prison.

The Former CITGO interim president, Jose Pereira, described his experience being held captive in Venezuela.

Pereira joined Owen Conflenti on KPRC 2 News Today at 10 AM to share his thoughts.
