‘Unprecedented demand’: Donations accepted for 45th annual Christmas Super Feast
‘Super Feast’ spreads holiday cheer on Christmas Eve
HOUSTON – Organizers collected donations for the 45th annual Christmas Super Feast.
The massive meal and toy giveaway, organized by City Wide Club, is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 23 at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
As of Monday, organizers said they’re worried some children may leave without a toy, and some families may not get a Christmas dinner.
Houstonians can ensure that doesn’t happen by donating to their “Super Santa Toy and Donation Drive” at grocery stores throughout Houston.
Known as the “Nation’s Largest Feeding,” the event aims to support 30,000 families in need before the holiday.
Donations will be accepted until 7 p.m. Monday at these listed locations.
