Police say woman was on FaceTime with her boyfriend when he was shot, killed in NE Houston

HOUSTON – A man was shot and killed Thursday night in northeast Houston and police said his girlfriend may have seen the whole thing over FaceTime.

According to police, the shooting took place around 8:40 p.m. inside of a home on Hage Street at Dodson.

Houston police said they were dispatched to a robbery call at that address and located an unresponsive man inside the home. 

He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased.

Investigators said before he was shot, he told his girlfriend that he knew something was not right.

The victim was said to have been 45 years old but has not yet been identified.

Police said Detectives a bright blue Chevy Silverado pickup truck was seen fleeing the residence after the shots were heard but they have not released a description of the suspect.
