LA MARQUE, Texas – A woman is now in critical condition after being injured during a drive-by shooting in La Marque.
According to police, the woman was shot at a residence on Avenue B and 2nd Street. Neighbors reported hearing the shots fired around midnight.
When police arrived, they said they found the woman with gunshot wounds. She was then taken to the hospital where she is said to be in critical condition.
Investigators said they located several shell casings around the home.
Police said as of now, they have no suspect and are unsure of a possible motive in the shooting.
