CHANNELVIEW, Texas – Authorities are searching for a gunman who they said shot and killed a man at a campground on Tuesday night.
According to deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting took place around 10 p.m. on River Road near the East Freeway.
Other campers told deputies that they heard the gunfire on the campground.
The victim was reportedly shot multiple times by the suspect.
Investigators are working to determine a motive.
