Driver in armored van carjacked by suspects in NW Harris County, Harris County Pct. 4 says

HARRIS COUNTY – Deputies with Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office are investigating after they say an armored van was carjacked from a northwest Harris County car lot Monday morning.

It happened in the 10700 block of FM 1960 Road West at around 7 a.m.

According to Constable Mark Herman, the victim told deputies that three men in ski masks drove up to the van in a Chevrolet SUV with a black bumper and held him at gunpoint.

The van was later located by deputies unoccupied in a Jersey Village neighborhood. It was later discovered that the van did not have money inside, according to deputies.

All three suspects remain on the run at this time.

No one was injured.
