HOUSTON – You only have three days to fill out an online claim form to collect $25 from T-Mobile. If you have EVER been a T-Mobile customer, you are likely eligible. Nearly 76 million people are owed this money as part of a class action settlement stemming from a 2021 data breach.

The site will ask for a “Unique Class member ID Number.” If you never received one from T-Mobile in a letter, or you lost it or can’t remember, just “Click here to request one.” I did that, and I received an email with a Unique Class Member ID within seconds. You then use that to submit your claim. It takes about two minutes. I chose to receive the payment by Venmo because I don’t want to provide my bank information. You can also opt to be paid via PayPal, Mastercard gift card, or several other options.
You may be able to get more money if you can prove you lost money or time dealing with identity theft or other issues related to this data breach. The settlement website explains what evidence or documentation you need if you want to claim a large amount.
