HOUSTON – A ruptured gas line has shut down the northbound lanes on North Shepherd between 19th Street and 20th Street in Houston’s Heights area Friday morning, Houston police said.
Crews are repairing the line at this time.

Drivers who frequent the area are expected to face delays and are urged to seek an alternate route.
No injuries have been reported.
