HOUSTON – Dairy Queen is celebrating its 75th anniversary in Texas with 75-cent ice cream cones.

The offer on original or dipped small cones ends on April 24.

Dairy Queen has been around since 1940, but came to Texas in 1947. Here’s a full timeline of the company that originated in Joliet, Illinois.
