Going to EPCOT this summer? This ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ roller coaster will be waiting

If you’re Florida-bound this summer, there’s a new roller coaster that’s waiting at Disney’s EPCOT. It’s a ride inspired by the mega hit movies “Guardians of the Galaxy.”

Disney made the announcement with a video on Twitter saying the ride, called “Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind,” is slated to open on May 27.

The video released with the announcement shows the films’ characters sitting in a space vessel and talking as a transmission shows the world ending and things disappearing.

“It’s save the galaxy time...AGAIN,” Rocket Raccoon says.

WKMG reports the new attraction will be “one of the longest fully enclosed coasters in the world, housed in one of the largest show buildings ever constructed for a Disney theme park. The thrill ride is also the first Disney coaster with a reverse launch. It will be located in the theme park’s newly named World Discovery neighborhood.”
