Harris County launches initiative to combat fake title scams

HOUSTON – Harris County Constable Alan Rosen and representatives from the office of Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector Ann Harris Bennett announces an ongoing initiative to combat fake title scams targeting those purchasing used vehicles.
On Friday afternoon, officials said they will explain how some victims are targeted and describe innovative new steps to combat fake titles.
