According to Disney Parks Blog, fireworks will return July 1 at Magic Kingdom and Epcot in Florida, and July 4 at Disneyland park in California.

The long-awaited return comes after nearly a year since Walt Disney World reopened with suspended firework shows as a part of its COVID-19 protocols to limit crowding last summer.

As for Disneyland Resort, which includes California Adventure Park, the return comes quickly after just reopening to California residents on April 30 and to everyone on June 15.

The last firework spectaculars at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort took place in March 2020 before the parks closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Disney fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of fireworks along with other pre-pandemic magical experiences.

Could fast passes be next?
