12 people arrested in prostitution sting in Pasadena

PASADENA, Texas – Twelve people were arrested on drug and prostitution charges after a sting operation conducted by the Pasadena and Deer Park police departments.
The Pasadena Police Department said on Oct. 7, undercover officers arranged meetings with women who “advertised adult services on an internet advertising site” at an area motel.
Investigators said they made arrests when women would agree to participate in prostitution. Officials said all of the women arrived with men who are also facing charges.
Several individuals were charged with prostitution, promotion of prostitution, possession of marijuana, and possession of controlled substances. Some were also arrested on outstanding or out-of-county warrants.
