Dig World opening on weekends: Here is what to know about the adventure park as summer approaches

New Katy amusement park will let kids operate construction equipment (Dig World)

HOUSTON – The construction-themed adventure park opened on March 17, but due to what the company called an issue with the high capacity of customers, the attraction closed and its re-opening date was uncertain.

On Tuesday, the company shared an update about the attraction: Digworld -- located at 5000 Katy Mills Circle, Suite 455 -- is now open on the weekends. The park will be open on Saturdays from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m.-6 p.m. for children and their families.
