Former President George H.W. Bush, Barbara to toss coin at Super Bowl LI

HOUSTON – Former President George H.W. Bush and former first lady Barbara Bush will toss the opening coin at Super Bowl LI.

Houston will play host to the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons for the NFL championship game Sunday evening.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell confirmed the former first family’s involvement during his annual pre-game news conference Wednesday afternoon.

This would be the first public appearance for the Bushes since they were treated and released from Houston Methodist Hospital.
