WATCH: Cement truck seen in flames on Houston highway

A viewer submitted a shocking video of a cement truck on fire on the highway in Houston Tuesday morning.

The video, submitted to KPRC 2′s Gage Goulding by Emerson Urbina, shows EMS and police responders approaching the truck as a large fire engulfs its cab and sends smoke into the sky.

The incident took place on I-45 at Sawdust Rd. Southbound.

The cause of the fire is unknown, and we are not aware of the status of the driver or passengers from the truck at this time.
