HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A woman and an infant have been taken to the hospital after a fire broke out at a home in north Harris County Sunday.
The Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office said the fire happened at a home in the 17300 block of Beaver Springs Drive.
One woman escaped the house unharmed.
A mother and infant were rescued from a back room of the house. They were both taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
The family’s dog did not survive.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
