HOUSTON – Police are investigating the death of a person whose body was found floating in Buffalo Bayou Thursday in downtown Houston.
The discovery was reported about 10 a.m. in the waters off Allen’s Landing Park.

Police said the body has been recovered but did not immediately provide any more information.
Authorities at the scene said they do not believe foul play was involved in the person’s death.
