Texans will host Chiefs in AFC wild card game

HOUSTON – The Houston Texans will host the Kansas City Chiefs Saturday afternoon in the AFC Wild Card game of the NFL playoffs. Tickets for the game will go on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m.

The Texans 30-6 victory over Jacksonville clinched the AFC South division. It was the team's third division title since 2011.

The No. 4 seed Texans will play the No. 5 seed wild card Chiefs Saturday at 3:35 p.m. at NRG Stadium. The team announced that Lil Jon will perform at the halftime show.

The Bengals will host the Steelers in the other AFC Wild Card game Saturday at 7:15 p.m.

Denver and New England clinched first-round byes in the AFC.

In the NFC, KPRC 2 will air the Seattle-Minnesota game at noon Sunday.

Then Green Bay and Washington play at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Carolina and Arizona have first-round byes in the NFC.
