Amazon hikes free shipping price for non-Prime shoppers and other business news

Amazon customers without a Prime membership will have to spend more to get free shipping.
The Internet retailer hiked the minimum for free shipping to $49, up from $35. Amazon Prime members are not affected by the change and will continue to get free two-day shipping on all orders.

In other business news, PBS is launching a new channel with round-the-clock programming targeting children. The new 24-hour, seven-day-a-week channel is an expansion of the existing PBS Kids franchise, which right now includes daytime programming.
Shows on the new network will include 'Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood,' 'Wild Kratts,' 'Dinosaur Train,' and classics like 'Sesame Street.' PBS will also set up a web stream for its kids’ shows.
