DOWNTOWN HOUSTON – With a name like Conejo Malo, there’s probably enough resilience and humor to rebuild the business.
The club on Travis Street in downtown Houston was gashed by straight-line winds that blasted through at 100 miles an hour, according to the National Weather Service. There’s a gaping hole in one wall behind the bar.

“We sincerely hope that none of our community members have been greatly affected by this incident,” they posted Friday afternoon on Instagram.
“Your support means the world to us as we navigate this transition. . .We will rebuild and come back stronger than ever.”

The club’s moving all their events to two other clubs, vowing to rebuild. “Together we are #houstonstrong and #conejostrong.”
