Goodwill Houston to host annual gala May 4

HOUSTON – Goodwill Houston’s annual gala is a great time for a good cause.

This year theme is “Goodwill Derby” in celebration of the Kentucky Derby.

Barbie Parker, vice president of fund development and community relations for Goodwill Houston along with Keith and Andi Kreuer, gala co-chairs – stopped by “Houston Life” to talk about how this event raises critical funds to support Goodwill Houston and to help keep their programs free for the community.

Goodwill Houston’s mission is to change lives through the power of work by helping educate, train, and hire individuals with barriers to employment to help them thrive in the workforce.

Goodwill Houston’s 36th annual gala will be held on Saturday, May 4 at the River Oaks Country Club.
