2 teens arrested in Spring after crashing car into house

Two teenagers were arrested after crashing a stolen car into a home during a police chase in Spring.

The chase began Tuesday afternoon when police tried to pull over a silver Kia Soul near the 22800 block of Banquo Drive. Authorities tried to apprehend the driver of the freshly stolen vehicle, but the driver refused to stop, and a chase ensued.

The high-speed pursuit ended when the Kia Soul slammed into the side of a brick home on the corner of Purple Wisteria Lane and Rainbow Eucalyptus Drive.

The 2 individuals continued on foot for a short time, but they were soon found and arrested. Authorities say the driver was just 17 years old, and his accomplice was also a juvenile male.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
