Check out a recap of our storms and our Wednesday forecast here ~Caroline
Tuesday's storms were intense! We saw severe hail up to golf ball sized. Heavy rainfall led to several flooded roadways. Over three inches of rain fell downtown. The strongest winds were documented at 75 miles per hour near Bush Airport. Power outages were spiking over 300-thousand during the height of the storm around 2:30 p.m.
Thankfully our storms have moved out and most of the night should be calm. There is a chance to see some additional storms flaring up early Wednesday morning through sunrise for our far western counties.
Wednesday will be hot and humid with a chance for showers and storms in the afternoon. We'll have to monitor for flooding Wednesday afternoon in locations that saw heavy rainfall Tuesday.
Have a wonderful night!
