Today is a great day to enjoy the outdoors - we're looking at sunshine and we could hit 90 by 3 this afternoon.
Tomorrow is our next flood and severe weather threat.
Strong storms arrive in the afternoon and night. The heaviest rain is expected to fall over our northern cities. The same places that have received 20"-30" of rain the past month.
Rain totals range from 1"-3" with 5"-7" possible. Hail, damaging winds and one or two tornadoes are possible too. There will be a few lingering showers left over Friday morning.

Heavier rain near I-45 from Buffalo to Conroe
7:30 PM:
Heavy rain north of I-10 from Houston past Conroe. Heavy rain near Brenham to Beaumont.
Friday:
6:15 AM:
Heavy rain on I-10 in the Columbus area
2:00 PM:
Heavy rain Lake Jackson to I-10 and NE to Liberty.
