The caller told officials that a woman slammed her car into the building multiple times and dragged things underneath her vehicle. Officials said the woman was taken out of the vehicle and evaluated by EMS.

According to an update from Mark Herman, the woman is 80 years old, and she mistakenly pressed her gas pedal instead of the brakes. After crashing into the building, she hit the gas a second time, causing more damage.

Her injuries are non-life-threatening, and the event is being treated as an accident.

No criminal charges are expected, but a petition will be made to the Department of Public Safety to revoke her driver’s license.
