Play ball! Houston Little League season now underway!

HOUSTON – It is a big day for families in southwest Houston. Today is the opening day for Westbury Little League baseball.

The day starts with a tadpole game at 8:30 a.m., followed by the parade of teams at 10 a.m. and the opening ceremony.

After the opening ceremony, there is a full day of baseball and a carnival.

This season, there are 492 kids on 46 teams.

The carnival is from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There is a bounce house, an obstacle course, a swing ride, and a ‘dunk your coach’ dunk tank.
