The wettest days will be Friday and Sunday. Friday's rain is the result of a warm front moving north and being lifted by upper level influences near the central part of the state. It will be wet much of the day, with forecast models showing a decrease in activity late in the afternoon - just in time for the Astros game.

The next greatest chance of rain will be Sunday as a cold front approaches from the north. Heavy rain is a possibility with 1 to 3 inches expected area-wide through Sunday, with isolated higher rain amounts possible.

High temperatures will be near 80 Friday and in the mid-80s Saturday, before heading back down along with the front on Sunday.

The start of next week will be near perfect with sunshine and highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s.
