Some showers Tuesday before cooler Wednesday

HOUSTON – A few showers are possible Tuesday across southeast Texas as a cold front approaches the region.

KPRC 2 meteorologist Britta Merwin said most of the rain will be along the coast, and amounts should be light. Some fog is also possible along the coastline.

Temperatures will be a little warmer, climbing into the mid-70s for most locations.

After the front passes Tuesday night, temperatures will drop by about 10 degrees for Wednesday.

Sunshine remains in the forecast through the long Thanksgiving weekend, with temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
