Prepare for wet commute as rain rolls through Houston

HOUSTON – Houstonians are facing a wet commute as showers roll through the area.

According to KPRC2 meteorologist Britta Merwin, the city is expecting about a half inch to an inch of rainfall, which is not a flooding concern but definitely a nuisance as people start their morning routines.

Temperatures will be in the 50s throughout the morning and will get into the low 60s as the high for the day.

The sky will be overcast, but the rain will clear out by the afternoon so the evening commute should be smooth.
